Our biodynamic program is headed across the pond!
This year marks the beginning of our transition toward being fully biodynamic practicing at Standing Stone. We`re starting from the ground up — with the soil — focusing on organic manure, cover crops, and a tea-based spray program that mirrors what we`ve built at HJW.
It`s the first step in a multi-year journey toward Demeter certification, as we continue to expand our overall approach to healthy vineyards, farms, and land. Standing Stone has a rich history, and by adopting these practices, we`re striving to better preserve this special site for the future.

Our Partner Winery
Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard, founded in 1979, is located on the western slopes of Seneca Lake. In 2007, Hermann sold the winery to Fred and Maressa Merwarth, and Oskar Bynke.
